Custom-Made Orthotics
FPT also offers custom-made orthotics. An orthotic is a supportive device which is placed inside
footwear, to change the mechanical function of the foot. FPT utilizes the unique and profoundly
effective Sole Supports system. Based on the concept of M.A.S.S. (Maximal Arch Subtalar
Stabilization) it enhances gait mechanics with ultimate decrease in pain of the low back,
hip, knee or foot. Sole Supports addresses each unique person's foot and its effects on
the entire kinetic chain while normalizing gait dysfunction at foot contact. Combination
of physical therapy and/or custom-made orthotics may be appropriate and can be discussed
with your therapist. We offer gait assessment & moldings of orthotics in-house with
orthotics available in 1 week. We can also accommodate orthotics for sandals or heels.
Lead therapist, Jennifer Watson, is certified in Sole Supports system of orthotics. For

Nutrition Information & Multivitamin Products
Part of FPT's mission is to address the whole person by looking at all aspects of the client's well-being. A key component to healing is nutrition... as the saying goes... "you are what you eat." Healing as well as overall health can be significantly affected by our diet. FPT works closely with several nutritionists to address the unique past medical history and goals of clients. Clients have opportunities to schedule consultations with a nutritionist with ultimate goal of developing a program bestly suited for them. Goals are achievable and specific with continued support from the nutritionist and therapist. Supplements or vitamins may or may not be recommended by the nutritionist.
We also promote Shaklee products at FPT. With over 50 years of production with in-house research and development, Shaklee has continued to develop it's vitamin/ supplement line with expansion into weight loss, cleaning and beauty products. Shaklee provides environmentally friendly & quality products (no plastics or synthetics) to the client. Speaking with your therapist and/ or visiting our Shaklee website will give information on the possible benefits of using Shaklee products.

A team "mascot" has also recently been added to the practice. Justice Maxwell, a great dane puppy, enjoys the variety of patients and of course all the attention! He will ultimately be used as a therapy dog. We are in the excited stages of therapy training with Justice and he is doing a wonderful job. Justice will ultimately be used with FPTs geriatric and pediatric population. There are a variety of ways dogs can be used for therapy needs. For questions please feel free to contact us. In the mean time we are excited to watch him grow... and grow he does!
